A J S Support Limited has built its professional reputation within manned and unmanned aviation from its establishment in 2006.

Over the last 15 years we have been discreetly working with national and high profile international clients as security cleared support specialists.

Since 2020 we have focused on providing free volunteer support to hobby users, volunteer groups and charitable organisations.

Whether you require hobby mentoring to fly drones safely and legally or you are a volunteer or charitable organisation that requires aerial drone support or advice about use of drones at your event, our volunteer team would be happy assist.

Our Office Support Manager – Helen Stevens

Helen is an experienced engineering manager and Microsoft Certified IT professional; with knowledge and experience of management of large IT projects within Defence procurement.

She specialises in the direction and management of projects, Management of MS Small Business Server 2011. Information Systems deployment, MS Exchange, Information System support, Service provision of help, advice and training to IT users, business social media management.

s the AJS Office Manager she is responsible for payroll, VAT, management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, preparation of annual accounts, personal and corporation tax calculations, Sage Instant Accounts.

Our team is made up of voluteers that is often assisted by a trusted support crew.

We are a small family company who pride ourselves on delivering a customer focused service. So when our customers require expeditious delivery requiring larger teams we can work with a range of experienced associate volunteers.

Our Chief Pilot – Alan Stevens MBE MRAeS MCGI.

Alan is the Principal Consultant, Chief Pilot & Assessor for A J S Support Ltd.

As an Aerospace Systems & Support Consultant he has over 35 years experience in operational aviation with the recent 15 years assisting customers develop critical aviation equipment based capabilities; the last 10 years has been involved in developing commercial remotely piloted system experience and is now supporting customers in unmanned system use start-ups.

He has been involved in supporting customer programmes procuring aviation systems with Through Life Costs upto £2Bn. Providing advice and guidance to ensure the critical capability is Designed For Support to reduce Through Life Costs.

During Alans career he has enjoyed managing teams of upto 60 military and civilian technical specialists and has managed large fleets of critical air and land vehicles in operationally hostile environments. Career history.
